UzVC Opens Applications for Startup Growth Program 3.0, Bringing Silicon Valley's Best to Uzbek Founders

SGP 3.0.

UzVC, Uzbekistan's National Venture Capital Fund, is proud to announce the launch of the open call for Startup Growth Program 3.0 — its flagship founder development initiative, now in its third and most intensive cycle.

After two successful cohorts, SGP 3.0 raises the stakes. This is a program built for founders who are serious about growth and ready to prove it. Combined with direct mentorship from Silicon Valley investors who have backed hundreds of companies globally, and the opportunity to pitch at  Demo Day to around 30 regional and international investors from US, MENA, Europe and Central Asia, SGP 3.0 is the most complete opportunity UzVC has offered to Uzbek founders to date.

Applications are open from July 6 to July 31, 2026 at uzvc.uz/submit.

What the program offers

SGP 3.0 runs from September through December 2026 in a hybrid format, with two in-person intensives in Tashkent and structured online sessions in between.

The program runs in three phases:

September, 2026. A Startup Growth Conference and Bootcamp in Tashkent for three days of workshops, structured diagnostic sessions, and the final selection of 15 startups from 30 shortlisted teams.

September - November, 2026. A 10-week Growth Deep-Dive running online from September through November, with six workshops covering the topics that matter most to early-growth founders: market strategy, go-to-market execution, unit economics, fundraising, investor relations, and a deep dive into AI. Each startup also gets three private mentoring sessions, dedicated specifically to their business, their numbers, and their next move.

December, 2026. A Final Bootcamp and Demo Day in Tashkent for pitch refinement, data room preparation, mock investor Q&A, and the Demo Day itself.

For the first time, every startup that is accepted into the program will receive a guaranteed $20,000 investment from UzVC.

Expert Lineup

Marvin Liao and Asher Siddiqui are back for SGP 3.0, joined by a carefully selected group of mentors whose track records span the full spectrum of what it takes to build and fund a global company. Marvin and Asher need little introduction to those who followed SGP 2.0. Marvin spent six years as a Partner at 500 Startups in San Francisco, working hands-on with over 400 early-stage companies. Asher brings over 25 years across venture capital, M&A, and company building, from leading billion-dollar transactions at one of the world's largest telecom groups to shaping investment strategy at 500 Startups and advising VC funds across Silicon Valley, the Middle East, and beyond.

The team also includes active Silicon Valley investors backing startups across the US and Asia, a former Google executive with deep expertise in emerging markets, founders and managers of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world, and former managers of hundred-million-dollar VC funds.

Who should apply

SGP 3.0 is for startups with a working product, early revenue or validated traction, and a founding team that is ready to commit to three months of serious, focused work. If you are thinking about fundraising and want to walk into those conversations prepared, this program is built for you.

As a condition of participation in SGP, UzVC will receive up to a 2% equity stake in each participating startup.

English proficiency is required, as all mentorship and expert sessions are conducted in English.

Uzbekistan was named Country of the Year 2026 by StartupBlink, achieving 227 percent ecosystem growth — a milestone we are incredibly proud of. Programs like SGP are a meaningful part of that story. SGP 3.0 sets a higher bar this time and will demand more from founders, but in return will also give them more: deeper mentorship, stronger accountability, and real growth and maturity as businesses. Our commitment is unwavering: to place Uzbekistan firmly on the map as one of the most vibrant startup ecosystems in the region and beyond."
 Dilshod Khashimov, CEO of UzVC
