A closed-door conference for 23 promising startups was held in Tashkent as part of Startup Growth Program 3.0
SGP 3.0.
The event marks the first stage of the Startup Growth Program 3.0 (SGP 3.0), aimed at conducting an in-depth diagnostic assessment of startups, evaluating their growth potential, and selecting participants for the next stage of the program.
Tashkent, September 8, 2026 — The Startup Growth Conference & Bootcamp took place in Tashkent on September 8–10.
The three-day closed conference brought together teams from 23 startups selected for SGP 3.0, with founders expected to attend from each startup.
The event is organized in partnership between UzVC and AKS, and combines practical workshops, open discussions with experts, individual diagnostic sessions, and networking opportunities for startups.
An individual approach with international experts
One of the conference's key features is a series of 1:1 diagnostic interviews conducted with an individual approach for each startup. On the second day, all 23 startups hold separate meetings with international mentors and the UzVC team to discuss their projects.
Among the experts working with startups within the program are Silicon Valley mentors Jay Onda, Sharif El-Badawi, and Marvin Liao.
The diagnostic process was designed to take a deeper look at each startup's current status, business model, go-to-market strategy, and future growth opportunities.
What did the three-day program include?
The first day of the conference was dedicated to a panel discussion on the development of the startup ecosystem, along with the experience of Tezbor, a graduate of SGP 2.0, and a presentation by Techstars.
Participants also took part in hands-on workshops led by international mentors, covering topics such as pricing and positioning, the fundamentals of go-to-market strategy, and articulating a startup's idea in a single clear sentence.
The second day was fully dedicated to individual diagnostic sessions. All 23 startups presented their businesses and received feedback on their development during separate meetings with international mentors and the UzVC team. During these sessions, startups were evaluated by mentors, and 15 of them were selected to advance to the next stage.
On the third day of the conference, the final selection results for the program's participant lineup were announced.
This was followed by an orientation session on the program's direction and a networking event.
