UzVC and SQB Ventures invested in Robosell startup
Robosell
Venture funds UzVC and SQB Ventures invested a total of $275,000 in the Uzbek startup Robosell.
Robosell was the country's first SaaS platform that enabled entrepreneurs to launch an online business without requiring technical skills or hiring external developers.
According to research presented by the company, approximately 80% of small and medium-sized businesses in Uzbekistan still lacked an online presence. The main reasons were the high cost of creating online stores, lack of digital knowledge, and the complexity of integrating various tools.
Robosell offered a solution that unified all key e-commerce processes within a single ecosystem. The platform allowed entrepreneurs to create a website, Telegram bot, and mini-application from a unified admin panel, as well as connect payment systems, delivery, CRM tools, analytics, and other services. One of Robosell's key achievements was creating the first business mini-application within Click Super App — the country's largest payment ecosystem. This partnership gave entrepreneurs instant access to millions of users without the costs of developing their own mobile application.
Mini-apps, as a new format for online sales, allowed companies to reduce development and promotion costs by up to 90%, while also simplifying the customer journey — from product viewing to payment. Through this, Robosell opened a new growth channel for businesses, making digital transformation maximally accessible. According to a KPMG analytical report, by 2027, the e-commerce market volume in Uzbekistan could exceed $1.76 billion, with an average annual growth rate of over 41%. Central Asia as a whole was viewed as one of the most dynamically developing regions for implementing digital solutions. Considering forecasts, Robosell estimated its potential market at $1.69 billion, with the company's near-term goal being to capture at least 2% of its target audience within the next three years, which was equivalent to approximately 19,000 active subscribers.
The CEO and founder of Robosell noted that attracting investment was not only a financial step but also recognition of the company's mission significance:
"For us, these weren't just numbers — this was the trust we'd earned through persistence, results, and our drive to make business digitalization a reality for thousands of entrepreneurs," commented Robosell founder Mashkhurbek Ergashev.
It was worth noting that Robosell was a participant in the UzVC SGP 2.0 acceleration program. The startup's presentation took place on Demo Day on December 5, where the team presented their achievements and development plans. The investments from UzVC and SQB Ventures were being directed toward scaling the Robosell platform in Uzbekistan and entering Central Asian markets, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. The funds were also going toward strengthening the development team, developing partner integrations, and marketing the product among small and medium-sized businesses. According to the company's strategy, Robosell intended to take the position of a leading regional aggregator of e-commerce solutions, providing entrepreneurs with tools for quick launch, management, and online business scaling.
